Sharps Chapel Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a roll over accident on Sunday, June 23, 2019, around 2:30 PM. The accident occurred on Sharps Chapel Road at the Palmers Junction intersection. Fire personnel and Engine 54 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, fire units found the vehicle off the roadway on it’s side. A small gas leak was found from a gas can in the trunk of the vehicle. Fire units stood by on scene until the vehicle was removed for safety.
