Accident on Maynardville Hwy

On Saturday, January 31, 2015, SCVFD was dispatched to a vehicle accident on its top just north of 33 Bridge on Maynardville Hwy. The vehicle went off the steep embankment. A rescue operation was set up to safely get the driver off the embankment and transferred to the care of Union County EMS.

    I helped the rescue squad and law enforcement Saturday at the pickup truck wreck on Hwy 33. Can you give me an update on the condition of the driver? Email response to me if you know anything. Thanks, Jerry

      Jerry,
      The fire crews have not followed up on the patient so we are unaware of the patients condition. However, crews are not permitted to release any information pertaining to the patient anyways. Sorry for the inconvenience. -LT
